Quorum Gallery, 374 North Coast Highway,
Laguna Beach, CA,

will be showing pastel still lifes by Mary Aslin during the month
of March and April 2008. Don't hesitate to stop by in you are in the
area.
My gratitude extends to the plethora of amazing artists and beautiful
subjects who are the source of my inspiration. This fisherman is a
regular on the San Clemente pier. He rides his motorized wheelchair
there daily and uses mussels for bait. He is a man of few words but deep
intensity and he graciously allowed me to photograph him for a
subsequent painting.
